On Saturday, 4th February 2017, CUOC staged the first day of the Icenian Weekend at High Lodge (the weekend has previously been known as The Thetford Thrash). The Icenian Trophy is up for grabs on day 1 at this biannual event. I am pleased to say that this year the trophy was won by NOR. More longstanding club members than me may remember us winning the trophy before, but we certainly have not in recent history, coming 4th of 4 in 2015. We had a strong turn out on the day – 32 runners, which was more than any other club. The scoring system seems to have changed this year, but our counting scorers were:
