There are a number of regional and national school competitions:

The British Schools Orienteering Championship (BSOC) is hosted by a region or club in the middle of November. The courses are this event based on the cross-country format but are designed to be appropriate standard and length for schools.  The 2015 championships will be in Norfolk

The British Schools Score Championships (BSSC) are hosted by a local club in early October. This event is designed to give school the opportunity to take part in a different type of competition.

The East Anglian Schools Championships is also held annually for schools in the region. Pupils at any school or youth group within the catchment areas of constituent Clubs of the East Anglian Orienteering Association are eligible to enter.
