Sandringham Royal Park is mixed woodland with mostly good runnability except for a few areas of bracken. Rhododendrons have been cleared in many areas, plus there are ongoing forestry works resulting in log piles – do not climb! The northwest part of the map has an escarpment with good contour detail, and in the northern end there is a common of open heath with a network of ditches plus areas of marsh.

The map has been updated to February 2022. Scale 1:10000 for Orange – Brown courses, 1:7500 for White and Yellow. Contour interval 5m. Map and descriptions printed on never-tear waterproof paper. IOF descriptions for Orange-Brown courses, Text descriptions for White and Yellow. SI boxes will be used; SIAC will NOT be enabled.

Courses Blue and Brown cross minor roads (unmanned crossings) so M/W16 and under are not allowed on these courses.

Many people like to take photos at sporting events and we’re hoping that some of the pictures taken will be shared with us for our website or Facebook pages. We don’t ‘tag’ or give contact details on Facebook, and hope that anyone else sharing photos on social media will also take care, particularly when young people are involved. If competitors or parents/guardians would prefer that photographs of individuals are not taken or published, please notify the event officials.
