Map Legends
Because of lack of space, not all our maps are printed with a legend. Follow this link to find a complete legend, but don't worry, not all the symbols will appear on maps of East Anglian areas. The symbols you are most likely to see on Norfolk maps are those concerned with vegetation, types of path, knolls, depressions and pits. Watercourses and gullies, fences, earth walls and earth banks are also seen frequently.
