A score event on such a small area as Litcham Common requires either 1 or 2 map exchanges or the sort of treatment it had today. There was a bit of luck involved in the order in which you chose to run the first batch of controls, but everyone seemed to enjoy themselves, and that was the object of the exercise! As I don’t know who did or didn’t visit control 25, which had been stolen, I’ve ignored it (possibly unfairly!), so the maximum score is 260. Although all the pin-punching was readable, not all of it was in the correct boxes, so where there was no explanation I’ve not accepted that control as having been visited. In one case in particular this has led to a greatly reduced final score. The Short Orange was a bit too hard for some, but again seemed to be mainly enjoyed. Apologies to Sheila and Alesha for removing the final controls before they reached them. Many thanks to all my helpers, Leanne for registration and finish, Sally and Alan for car parking etc, and Steve, Mike and John for control collecting. And thanks to everyone for coming.
