This year’s club champs will take place on Sunday 22nd November in King’s Forest, just south of Thetford. In a change from previous years, everyone should run the course appropriate for their age-group, as prescribed for East Anglian League events (M21 on brown, W80 on short green etc). Seniors will still be trying to beat the handicapper to lift the overall title, but we will be using a different algorithm to take account of different courses. This, along with the fact that none of us will be officials on the day (it’s a SUFFOC event) means we should all be able to run at roughly the same time, and there should be less hanging around than previous years, so I hope more people will stay for the presentation. This will take place at 1:00, so you could time your run to finish around 12:00-12:30, leaving enough time to recover your composure, have a bite to eat, and write your acceptance speech.
