Thank you for coming from near & far to today’s event, whether competing, volunteering, or both.
We’re sorry that for some people the enjoyment of the Yellow or Orange course was affected by other visitors to the area repositioning two controls.
Separately, Control 228 has been verified as being in the correct location, but I do not know if the unmapped minor path to the west of it was missed when I did my map updates earlier in the year, or if it has become more defined since. Regardless, perhaps the control and/or the leg to it from the West (Green, Blue) should have been one that didn’t make the cut, and I’m sorry that it disrupted people’s runs.
