Sprint Orienteering

FORMAT:

 

A 2.5km course that stays within Earlham Park (best for juniors/beginners)

 

A 3.5km course that features a section of urban orienteering amongst the campus buildings

 

Both courses will have a mass start at 1845, and the courses are gaffled. This means everyone runs the same distance, but some of the controls are different, so you can’t just follow the person in front all the way. This simulates orienteering relay races, mainly for the benefit of those taking part in relays over the coming month, but should provide some fun head-head racing for all.
