Apologies for the issues affecting c229 which wasn’t recording visits, despite giving feedback when punched; and then the further issues after we had swapped it out – this may show on your printed splits as that control being missed or wrong. This has been corrected in the final results, and those that punched the control have the correct splits time shown as well.

What a day!
We were blessed with great weather, great terrain and great courses. Everyone I spoke to enjoyed their run and the event was without incident.
As always, we need to be grateful to all those who put time into these events both on the day and before/after. It can feel serene when things are going well, but it’s because we’re fortunate to have so many dedicated people in the Club. We always need more help, so if you can spare time, please get in touch.
Special well done to Neil for his courses. They certainly made best use of the area and challenged all who came.
Thanks also to Paul. His calm and considered approach to controlling is always welcome and his assistance in a variety of ways is appreciated.
For those who missed the 2025 edition of Ling Common, you missed out. The new map and a perfect combination of drying ground and nothing more than new growth showed the forest at its best. Don’t miss out next time – we should have access to toilets too!
