Thank you to Alan and his army of volunteers that made the event run smoothly. I know Alan put a lot of effort into sorting the car parking in particular – even being on site on Saturday and warning the local dog walkers about the event the following day.
As I was planning my first Level C event I was mindful of the rules surrounding course lengths and the amount of climb in such an area. Sally (and Clive) were a huge help and pointed me in the right direction, in particular on making sure the Short Green was within the guidelines. The feedback on the flow of the Blue course shows the advantage of a good Controller reviewing the courses.
Thank you for all your comments and I hope you enjoyed the day.
It was a pleasure to control on such a lovely area which included some technical contour detail. Philip made really good use of this on all his courses. The courses were well planned and unsurprisingly I therefore heard many positive comments from competitors.
